Tripping or slipping accident compensation
Tripping and slipping accidents can happen anywhere. If the accident happened on a public highway, then The Highways Act 1980 provides a duty upon the local council to maintain and inspect the highway. If they have failed to do so, compensation for injuries can be claimed. Similar provisions apply for accidents that occur in private places such as supermarkets, shops & cinemas. Under The Occupiers Liability Act 1957, the occupier of these premises owes a duty to ensure the safety of visitors. If you have suffered injury through a trip, slip or fall then let us guide you through the process and let us assist you in putting things right.
If you suffered injury due to a trip, slip or fall we can:-
- Arrange physiotherapy and any other necessary treatment for you.
- Assist you through the claims process to ensure you receive the optimal level of damages.
Claims can still be made:-
- If there were no witnesses to the accident.
- If you do not know at this stage who is responsible.
We have extensive knowledge of the claims process. Helping you make a claim is what we are here for. If you are worried about any aspect of the claims process then please speak to us.
